Celebrating our Communities – Learn, Exchange, Reflect & Enjoy

Star of the Sea (Old Convent), Mullaghmore, Co Sligo

Saturday 25th April 2.30

The Wild Atlantic Way is not the 2500km of tarmac or 4000 road signs. It is about the stories, lives and landscapes of the people that lie along its length from Donegal to Cork. Mullaghmore is one of only 159 Discovery Points along the route.

Come along on Saturday, 25th April to Mullaghmore, Co Sligo and learn more about our own communities’ hidden gems and stories, reflect on what we have and what we can do and take time to celebrate and get to know each other better. Glens to Sea starts its journey with strong assets – ourselves and our landscape.

Paddy Mathews (Fáilte Ireland) acknowledged the unique potential of the Glens to Sea region to play its part in sustaining the Wild Altantic Way. Fáilte Ireland will be there to work with and support us.

Please feel free to bring an unusual item, write down a story, bring an instruments or their best tray bake to share on the day!

As part of our Glens to Sea Conversations, there will be a guided walking at the harbour in Mullaghmore at 12.30pm before the main event. Both events are free and open to anyone who wishes to come.

Please spread the word!
